Keep it in the family...................

On my recent visit to Melbourne I looked up one of my distant cousins for a spot of lunch and ended up squatting in her spare room for a few days. The room had a few samplers and mic's hanging around and it turns out her boyfriend is the MC in the popular Hip Hop duo Low Budget. A modest bloke he didn't big up his music and it wasn't until a few days later I actually heard any of their stuff. I liked it. Nice and funky with a hint of comedy and fromage! They just released their second album, Laserdisc, so check out there Myspace and if you like their stuff - buy it!

Gooday Amigo’s…… Stigos here, reporting in from Sydney in the dying days of my world tour. As you can imagine it’s been a whirlwind of barbies, beer and beaches* since I arrived in Oz which has taken it's toll I can tell you! So i've taken a few quiet minutes and sifted through the digital goldmine that is the interweb to deliver a quick 5 Antipodean hits that are rockin my iPod downunder and helping me sleep soundly on the bus.
